Must the existing cameras be replaced?
Not necessarily. ShadowAI works with many compatible DVR, NVR and IP camera systems after a compatibility check.
Does ShadowAI stop local recording?
No. It receives copies of motion-triggered images and does not replace the normal live view, local recording or playback.
What happens if the internet connection fails?
Local CCTV recording may continue, but ShadowAI analysis and alerts will not operate until connectivity returns.
Can a ShadowSecure operator review the alert?
Yes, when human-operated off-site monitoring is included and the site-specific operating and escalation procedure has been agreed.
